As you may have read before, Maarten recently was on a sabbatical, helping Children in Malang (Java, Indonesia). We supported him financially and personally and we were very happy to hear it has been a great success. In the two months Maarten has been there, he was able to:
- Teach English on a kindergarten and an orphanage
- Get the kindergarten painted by a local artist
- Organize a football tournament with teams from different orphanages in Malang
- Produce a postcard for future volunteers (profit goes to the organization)
We are proud of all the work Maarten has done there and we are happy to have him back.
